Beren Character Bio

    

My name is Beren, and I love my wife. In fact, I love her so much that I fought Morgoth for a Silmaril so that we could be together. Some other things about me, I am the head of the House of Beör, I am a mortal man, and a hero. Did I also mention that I love my wife? I have light brown hair and grey eyes, and I am pretty tall. 

My wife, Luthien, was once an immortal elf but gave that all up for me. We met in the woods, where I saw her and it was love at first sight. I stayed in those woods to find her. I searched for a long time, and then we found each other again. We loved each other immediately, but her father, Thingol, disagreed. He sent me on a quest to prove my love for his daughter, which is why I get to tell you that not only is our love story pretty cool, but it also helped in the fight against Morgoth. I was able to steal a Silmaril from his crown, and while the quest may have mortally wounded me, I still did it and I came back so it’s totally fine. But before I came back , Luthien died so that she could find me in the Hall of Mandos. When she did, she charmed Mandos so much so that he would send both of us back to the land of the living. Manwë and Mandos presented her with two options and she chose a mortal life so that we could be together. Isn’t that awesome?! I’m pretty sure this makes me a hero. Anyways, it’s time for me to go hang out with my wife again. I am so lucky!
