Beren Character Bio
My name is Beren, and I love my wife. In fact, I love her so much that I fought Morgoth for a Silmaril so that we could be together. Some other things about me, I am the head of the House of Beör, I am a mortal man, and a hero. Did I also mention that I love my wife? I have light brown hair and grey eyes, and I am pretty tall. My wife, Luthien, was once an immortal elf but gave that all up for me. We met in the woods, where I saw her and it was love at first sight. I stayed in those woods to find her. I searched for a long time, and then we found each other again. We loved each other immediately, but her father, Thingol, disagreed. He sent me on a quest to prove my love for his daughter, which is why I get to tell you that not only is our love story pretty cool, but it also helped in the fight against Morgoth. I was able to steal a Silmaril from his crown, and while the quest may have mortally wounded me, I still did it and I came back so it’s totally fine. ...
